Before Launch

Fred's suggestions/wishes/etc
- delete quoted text from message archives (ie: everything to the right of ">" )
- change Main Page title to something sexier -- maybe Vintage Lamborghini Message Archives - done
- archive lists order from oldest to newest -- how do you change? (guess we can't do this?) - I don't think this is possible without modification. I havent seen a MOD which does what you're looking for
- when accessing a post from a search list, how do you return to the search list? (other than back button, refresh screen, which is awkward); also you can use veiw next topic, but maybe you want to get back to the whole list? (no, that doesn’t work -- it literally moves to another topic) - I suppose we could add a button which just calls the "back" button on the browser.
- I wonder if we should rather redirect the poster to the home page when they hit Post/Reply. If they are not already a memeber it might be confusing to send them to a new post - easy change. I like it how it is, but if you prefer the other way, no problems.
- make times PDT instead of...mountain?? - change your time zone in your preferences file
- Jump To menus at the bottom of archive/thread pages needs to be finished -- maybe just delete or disable confusing jump to's for now - this works for me, but I'm happy to disable it
- is it possible to move the "Edit" button (global) down a bit? I'm always thinking it's the button for the topic above instead of inline with it. (maybe that's just me) - HA! I had the same problem, but I got used to it - I have found where this issue occurs, but I can't see how to fix it. There may be a css fix, but I'm not a CSS expert. I myself would prefer to have it appear just below the section line essay ideas
- we need to have a basic "skeleton" behind each car drawing, like with the Miura. How about just cut/paste the Miura info as is to all the other cars. Want me to do that?
[edit]
Wish List
- integrate Archive and wiki search results
- skeletons for each section (should we do this before launch?)
- roadmap for what content we ultimately want, in Wiki form (so users know to "Fill in the blanks, DUH!")
- clean up navigation between two systems
